Camera Moda Fashion Trust has announced the beneficiaries of the sixth edition of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant, held on Thursday, May 28. An initiative dedicated to independent Made in Italy brands that, through this program, can access financial support and a business mentoring pathway, including one-to-one tutoring, offered by the Trust network. The CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2026 was created with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, under the patronage of Regione Lombardia and the Municipality of Milan, alongside the support of Patron Style Capital SGR and Rosewood Rome. Applications for participation in the project were launched by Camera Moda Fashion Trust on its website last February and, among approximately 80 applications, a technical committee selected 11 finalists: ACT N°1, Andrea Brocca, Des Phemmes, Domenico Orefice, Grossi, Institution, Lutchmiah, Materia, Pecoranera, Unknown Artisan, Untitled Artworks.

For this edition, the international committee responsible for selecting the finalists of the CNMI Fashion Trust Grant 2026 was composed of industry experts, including renowned figures from the fashion system such as Claudio Antonioli (founder & ceo, Antonioli Group), Marco Bizzarri (entrepreneur), Carlo Capasa (chairman of Camera Moda Fashion Trust), Anna Dello Russo (creative consultant and former fashion editor for Vogue Japan), Sabato De Sarno (creative director), Suzy Menkes (Leading Fashion Authority), Sara Sozzani Maino (creative director, Fondazione Sozzani & advisory board member, Camera Moda Fashion Trust), and Robert Williams (chief correspondent at-large, the Business of Fashion).

The finalists presented their collections and showcased their proposed use of the grants to the evaluation committee, which selected three brands that, starting in June 2026, will benefit from a targeted support program to develop their labels. The selected designers will have the opportunity to access a series of strategic consultancy services led by experts from the Italian fashion system, as well as financial support. Creativity, strategic vision, and attention to sustainability were among the main criteria applied during the selection process. In this edition, three grants worth €70,000.00 were awarded to ACT N°1, Institution, and Materia.

"Supporting young designers today means making room for the future of Italian fashion. Through CNMI Fashion Trust, we want to continue guiding talented creatives in the growth journey of their brands, helping them transform vision, research, and quality into concrete and sustainable projects over time," said Carlo Capasa.
