The Pitti Filati textile trade show returns to the Fortezza Da Basso in Florence from June 28 to 30, 2023, with a showcase of the collections of the most important Italian and international spinnings presenting the yarns and textile trends for FW 2024, the trends of tomorrow in the new Spazio Ricerca, Domino, curated by Angelo Figus and Nicola Millerand, and the new proposals of the special areas Knitclub and CustomEasy. The yarns and textile trends for the next Autumn/Winter 2024 will be presented by a total of 120 companies.

There are 87 exhibitors in the Yarns area, of which 19 from abroad (United Kingdom, Japan, Peru, China, Ireland, Turkey, Mauritius, Romania, Egypt, South Africa, New Zealand); 19 exhibitors within the CustomEasy area, of which 1 from abroad (Japan) and 14 exhibitors within the KnitClub area, of which 1 from abroad (Hong-Kong).

"Pitti Games" is the theme that defines the style and atmosphere of the upcoming Pitti Filati, as it has been for the other Pitti Fairs. Play, that's the keyword. Because it refers to a challenging but creative dimension, which is synonymous with energy, commitment, and a desire to succeed.

On the occasion of Pitti Filati 93, it's back the collaboration between Fondazione Pitti Immagine Discovery and the students from the Master's Program in Creative Knitwear Design at Accademia Costume & Moda and Modateca Deanna through a special fashion show taking place special on Wednesday, June 28, at 6:00 pm, at the Sala della Ronda of the Fortezza da Basso. It will feature the final capsule collections of the 13 international students and collaborations with Max Mara Fashion Group, The North Face, Vitelli, and Abraham Industries.

In conjunction with the fair, the appointment is renewed with Vintage Selection, the reference show for vintage clothing, accessories and design objects. The exhibition-market is recognized as one of the most authoritative and prestigious events in the world of vintage culture in Italy and Europe, and it always attracts great interest among Pitti Filati operators, who are constantly looking for unique pieces and inputs from the fashion of the past. The appointment is during Pitti Filati days, from Wednesday, June 28 to Friday, June 30, at the Ghiaia Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso. Admission is reserved for industry professionals.
